This inaugural post marks the beginning of something I’ve contemplated for quite some time—a personal blog where I can share my thoughts, projects, and journey. This blog represents a step toward vulnerability—publishing my thoughts despite the lingering fear of judgment or criticism. It’s about growth, both as a writer and as someone willing to share their perspective with the world.
It’s an opportunity for deeper thinking and more rigorous intellectual exploration, a framework that encourages me to structure my thoughts more deliberately and question my ideas more strictly, knowing that they will face publication, albeit “only” here. Is this idea worth pursuing? Does it offer something meaningful?
I want to move away from the rapid-fire content often seen on social media and create a more thoughtful online presence for myself that better captures my interests and personality. This blog is also a place to make progress more tangible, an opportunity to look back and cringe as I evolve. There is value in that, too.
I have no idea where this experience will take me, but I am interested in the challenge of keeping a personal internet bubble to explore ways of expressing myself and sharing my work. Some posts may revisit older projects or ideas, and others will bring perspectives on the future. I want to keep it loose and let my interests drive the content, at least for now.
It’s also for me a way to share some of my knowledge and experience that others may find interesting or useful, too. This is a place primarily for myself, but if my experiences happen to resonate with or help others along the way, I’ll consider that a welcome bonus.
What to expect
I expect to discuss a variety of topics, from more career-focused subjects like 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and sustainability, to leadership, books and productivity, life lessons, and more. This is my personal space, something where I practice getting the stuff done and building some consistency.
In the spirit of transparency, I should mention that I use AI assistance for some elements of this blog—including parts of the site structure, checking grammar, and even some images like the one for this post. However, all the ideas, content, and direction are genuinely mine. The AI simply helps me overcome creative blocks and technical hurdles, which has been tremendously valuable in finally getting this project off the ground.
Happy reading!
